About this effect

a full-screen board. four philosopher quote cards and seven sticker cut-outs scattered over the section, each draggable inside the board’s bounds.

every piece rides a spring (mass 0.5, tension 255, friction 20). a drag writes its offset straight into that spring, so letting go pulls the piece back into place, while hover lifts it a little and reveals its corner dots.

the decorations also spin with the page. the scroll delta accumulates into an angle while the section is in view, alternating direction per sticker, and the rotation settles when scrolling stops. neat.
